In the article How do Geniuses Think? the author believes that most geniuses are fathered by men older than thirty and women younger than 25. The author emphasizes that geniuses do no have to be the smartest people on the planet, ¨...creativity is not the same as intelligence.¨
The authors interpenetration of being a genius is different then conventional definitions of genius, because the first word that pops into peoples head as they hear ¨genius¨ is a very smart and intellectual person. Geniuses have shared strategies on how they deal with problems. They think of how many different ways a problem can be solved, and how they can learn and rethink the way they see problems. Geniuses all have productive thinking. Using my genius hour project I can put in action some of the methods that geniuses use. Instead of looking at the band room and knowing what I want to do. I am going to look outside of the box and draw out all of the options of how to organize the band room. Using the methods of a genius can ultimately open my eyes to a better solution. Thus saving time and money in the end.
